Water companies are under increasing pressure to prosecute polluters of wastewater networks. The most common pollutants are fats, oils & grease (FOG) which congeal when they enter drains and sewers resulting in blockages, fatbergs and potential floods.
Most commercial establishments must comply with consent levels set by the water company and fines for breaching the consents are increasing.
Lakes, ponds, rivers, canals etc. are generally labelled surface water. These assets are often neglected and become anaerobic (no oxygen) which results in stagnation, odours, algae and decimation of marine and wildlife. Equally, if the water becomes polluted with weeds, algae etc. it cannot be pumped, which in the event of a fire may prove catastrophic.
Bioremediation solutions will treat all types of organic pollutants that cause danger to the environment.

STPS/WWTPS
Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) or Wastewater Treatment (WWTP) deal with many thousands of m3 of sludge and wastewater everyday using high level of chemical, energy and other materials to keep the plant running. What is commonly left is the bi-product of sludge. Our treatment is designed to both treat inside or outside of the STP/ WWTP and will increase the efficiency of the plant, reducing costs by digesting the sludge in-situ therefore removing the need for transportation or secondary treatment or worse – landfill / incineration.
Sewage sludge is hazardous to human, plant and animals and the focus for those who want to protect their communities is to reduce the sludge burden a far upstream.
Other issues that can be resolved include:
Silt (organic element) within the silt layer in lakes, ponds and rivers thereby increasing capacity and reducing flood risk, whilst improving turbidity and dissolved oxygen levels.
Importantly in-situ nature-based remediation dropped into the lake, pond, river to digest the organic layer reduces the carbon footprint impact by taking lorries off the road and eliminates the damage caused by traditional method of dredging, plus significant cost savings.
